Apply a thin, even layer to a clean, wet face. Massage using small, circular motions until your entire face is covered in a thin even layer – steering clear of the skin around your eyes and mouth. Leave on for up to 5 minutes, or up to 2 minutes for sensitive skin. Rinse and pat dry. Your skin might tingle and flush slightly for a moment – that’s the active ingredients doing their thing. Use 2-3 times weekly.

Lactic acid is a gentle exfoliant and a type of AHA (alpha hydroxy acid). AHAs help increase cell turnover and eliminate accumulated dead skin cells on the epidermis. Lactic acid is also a humectant. The ingredient draws moisture in and is great for dry skin.

Yes, lactic acid is considered safe for use during pregnancy and breastfeeding. The Willow Bark Extract is also safe for use, which is a natural alternative to salicylic acid.
